The Druckfarben Group welcomed associates in the new, state-of-the-art KRAFT Paints & BIOCLIMA production facilities

In an event dedicated to Energy Upgrade Building Systems and the new ready finishing render and mortar production lines, the Druckfarben Group welcomed associates in the new, modern automated plants manufacturing BIOCLIMA® and KRAFT Paints products at Aspropirgos, Attica.

Attendees had the chance to gain input and get a close glimpse of BIOCLIMA® certified energy upgrade building systems, being fully harmonized with all current European and National Codes, concerning thermal insulation and fire protection of building structures.

Geared towards the future and aiming at sustainable development, attendees were informed on the evolution of BIOCLIMA®, the innovation it encompasses, and the fact that it constitutes the first certified external thermal insulation system carrying a «Green» EPD Certification (Environmental Product Declaration). This certification assures the superior environmental classification of building structures, according to internationally acclaimed classification systems, such as LEAD, BREEM, WELL, etc.

Associates were able to browse the new, technically advanced facilities that represent a 2.75 million Euro investment by the Group. These include a new, state-of-the-art production line for ready external thermal insulation finishing renders, as well as the new automated mortar production & packaging line; this will serve the current product line (external thermal insulation facade adhesives, stuccoing putties, repair products, etc.), and will further expand the Group’s development potential. Visitors experienced the production process of BIOCLIMA® products and received input on technical solution, advanced specification systems intended for facades (ClimaWall®) as well as terraces (ClimaRoof®).
