Certifications
BIOCLIMA® believes that there are three key elements driving the Construction Sector towards sustainability: Wellness; climate change; and circular economy; these elements are supported by the certifications of individual products.
The integrated BIOCLIMA® Advanced Energy Building Systems were designed with the Greek climate conditions in mind, which are rich in multitude of microclimates and architectural traditions. BIOCLIMA® offers two Advanced Energy Building Systems for walls and roofs. They are part of a new, human-focused and environmentally aware architectural concept, contributing to cost savings and the environment protection, mainly through the reduction of CO2 emissions, thanks to the reduced energy requirements for heating / cooling. These are smart systems, capable of adapting to climate and environment variations, as they control contaminants; contribute to the development of healthy indoor environment quality; ensure water insulation & repellency; make optimal use of heat capacity’ and improve the building’s energy performance. All the above translate into enhanced quality of living.
BIOCLIMA® Advanced Energy Building Systems are the first certified Greek external thermal insulation systems that possess EPD (Environmental Product Declaration).
Furthermore, Druckfarben Group employs an expert BIOCLIMA® Technical Support Department, staffed by engineers and application technicians, aiming at providing prompt and effective information to all concerned parties, offering expertise and technical solutions corresponding to individual requirements.
CLIMAWALL®
The ClimaWall® systems offers technical solutions certified according to European Regulations (EAD 040083-00-0404), leveraging all 4 thermal insulation board types (white & graphite expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene (XPS), mineral wool (MW)), offering two base coat options (inorganic and organic), meeting every architectural and design requirement through the comprehensive ClimaTop® finishing render line.
CLIMAROOF®
BIOCLIMA® ClimaRoof® is a complete lightweight thermal and water insulation system for flat roofs (terraces). It is the fruit of the collaboration between two leading groups in the construction materials sector: KRAFT Paints and FIBRAN. It comprises specific sequences of thermal insulation, adhesion and waterproofing layers; these are applied in discreet phases on building terraces, thus offering proven shielding against water and thermal ingress, combined with the least possible load burden to the structure. In the case of terraces without drainage gradients, the ClimaRoof® Incline system can be used.
