The DRUCKFARBEN Group: Sustained Growth

The DRUCKFARBEN Group HELLAS ΑΕΒΕ is active in the production of inks for flexible packaging; the production and distribution of architectural coatings and mortars under the trade name KRAFT PAINTS®; and the BIOCLIMA® Advanced Energy Building Systems. According to the figures of the 2021 Annual Financial report, the unified turnover of DRUCKFARBEN HELLAS ΑΕΒΕ amounted to €70.23 mil. against €62.17 mil in the preceding fiscal year, marking a significant growth in the order of 13%.

The Group’s Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached €9.31 mil. from €9.73 mil. in 2020, demonstrating the steadfast course of the Group, despite volatility in raw material and energy prices. Unified earnings before tax marked a slight reduction in the order of 2.8%, amounting to €5.04 mil, against €5.18 mil. in 2020. The Group’s growth last year resulted in 45 new job positions, with focus on the manpower employed at the research and development, production and customer service departments, increasing the total employee count to 371.

In early 2022, the company completed a new, state-of-the-art, automated production plant in Aspropirgos, Attica, for BIOCLIMA® Energy Upgrade Building Systems, at a construction cost of €3.5 mil. Furthermore, the extension of buildings at Agios Nikolaos-Evia was completed; this concerned the relocation of specialized water-based ink production, as well as new production equipment, for a total amount of €1.3 mil. The above mentioned investments are part of the Group’s triannual investment plan of a total amount of €5.4 mil. This will further drive the development of our activities.
