The "green" building of COSMOTE in Kerameikos was completely reconstructed according to international standards. The design was carried out in an environmentally responsible way, aiming to improve a range of indicators such as energy consumption, water use, CO2 emissions, indoor environmental quality, and resource management. Today, it is one of only seven buildings in Greece that have been awarded the international LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
