The morphology of the buildings refers to the principles of modernism and integrates references to the Venetian period of Crete in a contemporary way. The ultimate goal of the design was to exploit the natural slope of the land in order to distribute the units on terraces with planted roofs, with the aim of minimising the visible volume and ensuring an unobstructed sea view.
